Overview: This best netbook handles the larger 1024 x 768 resolution expected by most software and displays it well on the 1024 x 600 screen, the 10 inch screen makes the 1000HE a bit larger that the 8.9 inch netbooks but of course what you get is a better view, the webcam works very well, even for a cheap laptop, I would highly recommend the 2 GB memory upgrade. There is no better way to improve performance. The battery life is amazing, you can get a real world value of 7.5 to 8 hours with the WLAN on under the power saving mode. Great sound out of the speakers, It’s plenty loud if used with a good quality earphones. Weight and size: The size and weight of this computer is perfect! It weighs in a little heavy at 3.2 lbs, about a little less than weight of a 1″ thick, 8.5″ x 11″ textbook. You can carry it around easily in one hand. Keyboard: As many have said, the keyboard is excellen, touch typing is incredibly easy to get used to and the spacing seems to give a better target for your fingers. ALL IN ALL. If you want to use a laptop for office, surfing the web, listening to music, watching movies, portable, and lightweight, I would definitely recommend the ASUS EEEPC 1000HE Mini Laptop, because it offers the longest battery life of any netbook currently available.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Design and Dimensions:
This laptop doesn’t make any noise at all. The design is very beautiful, very light weight. The audio and camera are awesome. Image is perfect. The sreen is a little small but is very portable, the sreen is very slim and light weight and with the wide screen you don’t have to scroll left to right to see everything on the page. This is a very nice little laptop, lightweight, but it still feels sturdy, enough so that you don’t worry about just putting it in your backpack, the keys really feel substantial and sturdy under your fingers.

Netbooks will be a significant new growth segment in the overall notebook category, as many have already said, the Samsung NC10 mini laptop is a great machine. The NC10 is clearly the best netbook on the market right now. The size is just right, the screen bezel doesn’t appear to be huge as on other netbooks, and the keyboard is excellent, the NC10 runs exceptionally quiet and cool!
Samsung NC10 Design and Dimensions:
The Samsung NC10 has a very handsome finish that absolutely will not show fingerprints and seemed worth the higher price for the better keyboard layout and better looks. The samsung NC10 is a very slick little machine with a light, relatively powerful, good battery life and compact design. In addition, excellent Samsung customer service.
Touch Pad:
The touch pad is pretty short (up and down) so some adjustments needed to be made to the pointer speed and momentum to get it up and down without retreading over and over.
Long Battery Life:
A netbook’s greatest strength is the superior mobility, as many have said, the 6-cell, 5200mAh battery life is great! The battery life is amazing with 7 hours and more. You can easily get more than 7 HOURS on this netbook.
Weight and size:
Weight. It is light, but because it’s small it seems dense. It is still very light for a laptop, even lighter than the Macbook Air.
Keyboard:
The NC10 probably has best keyboard of all the netbooks, the keys have a great feel to them, and working on the NC10 doesn’t feel cramped at all.
Display Screen and Resolution:
The 10″ form factor is small enough to be portable but big enough to comfortably view and type on and it is very bright and clear with 1024×600 resolutions. The NC10 is perfectly usable outside or in a brightly lit room.
Verdict:
If you are looking to buy a netbook, I would definitely recommend the Samsung NC10!
