DELL has priced a new configuration Inspiron 11z mini laptop at around $479 and the netbook will be available in a range of six colors, including Alpine White, Ice Blue, Jade Green, New Cherry Red, Passion Purple and Promise Pink with a 250GB HDD, Vista Home Premium. In addition, you can order an Inspiron 11z with an optional dual-core CULV, the Intel Pentium SU4100.
Verizon has expanded it’s netbook lineup with the Gateway LT2016u mini laptop and now engadget.com has just reviewed the updated Gateway LT2016u. The LT2016u has the exact same specs as about a dozen other netbooks on the market. The netbook features an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display, 1GB of DDR2 533MHz SDRAM, and a 160GB hard drive. Other features on the Gateway LT2016u include VGA webcam, Windows XP Home, WiFi, and up to 6 hours of battery life. Size and weight are very decent (Less then three pounds) . If you sign up for a two-year deal, the Gateway LT2016u will be available October 4 for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.

I’m very impressed with this netbook, the Samsung N120 mini laptop base configuration includes an Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz, 160GB of storage, and Windows XP Home Edition. Other features on the N120 netbook include a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth, and Atheros b/g WiFi. I also like the keyboard: 12-inch keyboard is full size and therefore larger than the keyboards on most netbooks, including other 10-inch Samsungs. The N120 comes with the standard set of ports which include an SD card reader, three USB slots, mic/headphone jacks, VGA out, and ethernet. This Product model has a wonderful glossy screen which delivers a native resolution of 1024 x 600. The battery life the Samsung N120 squeezes out of its 6-cell battery is excellent. Samsung provides a 6-cell, 5200mAh battery as standard equipment, and the battery life is outstanding as a result. This 10.1″ model will retail for $439.99.
