Intel Atom N450 Logo

It was rumored that Intel will launch the 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 for mini laptop/netbook/nettop on January 3rd 2010! I would not be surprised. Its so exciting it makes me want to buy another netbook when these things come out. Just for you know, the Atom N450 will use less power and offer more energy efficiency than the Atom N270 or N280 chipsets and has a speed of 1.6GHz. It will sell for $64, which is $20 more than the Atom N270 processor available today, but the money is worth it, it has a GPU too!  The processor will house an integrated graphics circuit that will enable netbook builders to save both room and cost. Fudzilla.com is reporting that Intel will also announce many new products based on the new N450 processors officially.
