Samsung N510 with Windows 7 hits US pre-order: Looking forward to the Samsung N510? The ION powered Samsung N510 mini laptop became available for pre-orders in US. As we know, its already available in many parts of Europe. The new Samsung N510 11.6-inch netbook is selling for between $575 and $583 at the moment. It seemed worth the price for the better design and better looks. The Samsung N510 is the only available 11 or 12-inch netbook with a matte display in a matte body. And it has a very good, sturdy keyboard. To me, the main advantage of netbook is their small size and light weight, this netbook measures 289×199.5×256.6-30.3 mm(W x D x H) and weighs about 1.4 kg (with 6-cell battery). Under the hood is a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor with NVIDIA ION graphics, an 11.6 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1.3MP Webcam, a 5900mAh battery and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

BenQ Joybook Lite U102
BenQ have added the mini laptop (another name to remember) to its range of Joybook Lite U102 small netbooks. The low cost 10 inch mini laptop boasts of some standard netbook features such as an Intel’s Atom N270/N280 1.6GHz CPU, a 1GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive, a 10.1” UltraVivid 16:9 WSVGA LED-backlit screen at 1024×600-pixel resolution. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, Wi-Fi, an optional 3G access and Bluetooth 2.1, 3-six or 6-cell battery and runs Windows XP Home OS. The Joybook Lite U102 is currently available in Taiwan, China, and Thailand markets.
Haleron MIO smartbook
Haleron Technologies has quietly updated their website with a new 7 inch mini laptop which named as MIO smartbook. Internal specs are quite ordinary: a VIA ARM 266MHz processor, a 7-inch display, a maximum of 256MB RAM (512MB would be better), 1GB of flash storage space and supports up to 4GB, an optional 3G USB modem, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, 10/100 LAN, 3 USB ports and an SD memory card slot. It also comes with 6-hour battery and runs on Windows CE 6.0 OS. I like low prices and this mini laptop will retail for $189! Colors available: pink, green, red, black and silver.
