It is likely that MSI is getting set to launch an 13.4-inch CULV mini laptop from its X-Slim series. As expected, the MSI X-Slim X350 will be an updated version of X-Slim X340 ultra-thin laptop. It is a 13.4-inch notebook with a 1,366 x 768 LED display and is powered by an Intel CULV Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 500GB of hard drive space and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. You can use the Intel’s GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics and it gets 9 hours on battery. Ports and connectivity: HDMI and VGA port, Bluetooth, WiFi, an SD/MMC media card reader and two USB ports. No words yet on pricing and release date.

Onkyo has a brand new UMPC for us, the Onkyo BX 407A4 which is basically a re-branded UMID M2, it definitely shares the same design as the M2! Features and specifications of this UMPC include an Intel Atom Z515 1.2GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 32GB SSD, and 4.8-inch (1024 x 600 LCD). This mini laptop will be available for $730 with Windows XP.

A new mini laptop from a manufactuer called LG Electronics has been spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) called the LG XNote LGX30. This is an ultrathin laptop with an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 resolution display. Other main features are including an Intel Atom processor (no clock speed announced), GMA 500 graphics, SSD storage, 802.11n Wi-Fi, integrated 1.3M Webcam, Bluetooth, multicard reader and HSPA modem. You will get a couple of USB 2.0 ports, headphone, microphone and Windows 7 Home Premium. It is expected to the unveiled at the CES 2010. Prices are not confirmed, but should be in the range of $500-$600.
