The price isn’t bad: under $400 for a new mini laptop and here’s a look at what these cheap mini laptops offers.

Samsung NB30 system configurations:

ASUS Eee PC 1201HAB system configurations:

At the CES 2010, ASUS displayed a new Gaming notebook, the ASUS ROG G73Jh. This powerful gaming notebook features a 17.3 inch display which supports a resolution of 1920×1080, a Core i7-720QM CPU, and is configurable with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, Radeon HD 5870 (DX11 support), 8-channel HD audio with EAX 4.0 compatibility, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, webcam, and a Blu-Ray/DVD drive. Another excellent feature of this new Gaming notebook is 1TB of HDD space. Still no words on its price and availability.
According to DELL, the thinnest Dell Adamo laptop now cost only $999! This is a great mini laptop computer. Plenty fast and super-thin. I’ve been pleasantly surprised how fast it is. For $999 you get a 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor powered machine with Intel GMA X4500 graphics, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 128GB solid state drive, wireless, webcam, and Windows 7 Home (64-bit). It looks great, plays 1080p video no problem, but 2GB of RAM at that price just isn’t doing it for me.
