HP has announced the new Compaq Airlife 100 smartbook, a mini laptop with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. The HP Compaq Airlife 100 smartbook is boasts an Android OS platform, including a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 16GB SSD, 3G and WiFi connectivity, SD card slot, VGA webcam and a 12-hour battery life or 10 days of standby time. The interesting feature is the full QWERTY keyboard. It is expected release in very soon.

Samsung N210 10.1-inch mini laptop: Samsung Australia has introduced a new version of its Samsung N210 netbook, one based on the Chrome platform. Mr. Newton says the new device “We will be expanding our range shortly and we will have a Chrome-based notebook.” There were rumors that we would see this Samsung N210 netbook with an 10.1-inch display and features a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, 3G, WiFi, a 12-hour battery. Of course, it will be shipped with Google Chrome OS. Still no words on its price.
Folks in the US could very well be getting their hands on the new Lenovo G455 and G555 notebooks. All models also include a 16:9 widescreen High-Definition display, an AMD Athlon II or AMD dual-core Turion II processor, an ATI Radeon HD integrated graphics and Windows 7 operating system. The $449 Lenovo G455 is an 14-inch laptop. While, Lenovo G555 is an 15-inch notebook. Both notebooks will go on sale in March.
