There were rumors that we would see a lastest mini laptop with Intel Pine Trail CPU. The ASUS Eee PC 1008P (picture above) is designed by Karim Rashid. It’s design is better than most other units in it’s size class. The specifications of the Eee PC 1008P are similar to the Eee PC 1008HA, coming with an 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. You can also find Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support, and a 1.3-megapixel camera. The 1008P will be shipped with Windows 7 Starter. Alright, this 10″ mini laptop has impressed me for its platform, weight, screen, chiclet style keyboard, touchpad, and, especially, its perfect design! If the non-designer comes without the fingerprint magnet gloss paint, the 1008p will be the best looking netbook out. It will be available in February 2010, I hope its not too expensive, a good selection of laptop colors to choose from Hot Pink and Gold Brown.
