Acer has showcased its special edition tablet PC that designed for London 2012 Olympic Games, called Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Games Edition. The new tablet packs a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, a quad-core 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 4-Plus-1 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing 1MP camera for video calling, HDMI out and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It is equipped with a 9,800 mAh battery which provides up to 15 hours of HD video playback.
Amazon.de has started selling a new model of Acer Aspire One mini laptop which uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual-core processor and an Intel GMA 3600 graphics card, called ‘Aspire One D270′ in Europe. The new ‘Aspire One D270′ packs a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM and a 320GB of hard drive (5400rpm). Along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a a 5-in-1 card reader, 0.3 megapixel webcam, and a 6-cell 4400mAh Li-ion battery.

It is said that Acer will roll out an upgraded version of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabooks with Sandy Bridge chip. Powered by a 1.7GHz Intel Core i7-2637M processor, this mini laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 240GB solid state drive (SSD), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.3 megapixel webcam, card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a 3280 mAh battery. The ‘original’ Acer Aspire S3 was boasts an Intel Core i5 processor and 320GB hard disk space. The Ultrabook will be shipped with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
