It is said that Acer will roll out an upgraded version of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabooks with Sandy Bridge chip. Powered by a 1.7GHz Intel Core i7-2637M processor, this mini laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 240GB solid state drive (SSD), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.3 megapixel webcam, card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a 3280 mAh battery. The ‘original’ Acer Aspire S3 was boasts an Intel Core i5 processor and 320GB hard disk space. The Ultrabook will be shipped with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

It seems Acer is getting ready to release the Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook in the US. The Acer Aspire S3-951 mini laptop is currently listed for pre-order for the price of $899.99 via Amazon. It comes with a 13.3-inch LED-backlight display with 1366 x 768 resolution, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard disk space and an Intel Core i5 processor. You will get Intel HD Graphics 3000, a 1.3 webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI port, a 2-in-1 card reader, a battery life of around 6 hours and the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Dimensions of Acer Aspire S3-951 are 12.59″ x 8.52″ x 0.51″ to 0.68″ and weight is about 3 pounds.

The new Aspire laptop, the Acer Aspire 5755 Style laptop hits European market (stores) for price tag 599 Euro. It is powered by the 2nd-generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB HDD, a 2GB GeForce GT 540M graphics card and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook, also called the Acer Aspire 3951, weighs only 1.4 kg (3 lbs) and sports a super slim body that is only 13mm thick. The new ultrabook packs a 13.3-inch HD LED display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a choice of Intel ULV Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors, a 240 GB solid state drive (SSD) or up to 500GB HDD, a full-size Acer FineTip chiclet keyboard, HDMI output, 2-in-1 card reader, Crystal Eye 1.3 megapixel camera, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and more. The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook will be available between the price of €799 – €1199 (about $1075 to $1600) and will be available in September 2011.

Acer America has introduced a new model of travelmate timeline series which uses a Intel’s 2nd generation processor, called Acer TravelMate Timeline 8481T. The entire device weighs around 3.7 pounds and will be just 0.87-inch thick. Features of the Acer TravelMate Timeline 8481T, including an 14-inch HD 1366 x 768 LED -backlit display, a 320GB hard disk drive, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, an Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 128MB memory, 8-cell Lithium-ion battery and Windows 7 Professional Edition 64-bit OS. The new travelmate timeline notebook has a 1.6GHz Intel i5-2467UM Dual Core processor with a Turbo Boost feature that can bump its speed to 2.3GHz, Gigabit Fast Ethernet, 2-in-1 card reader ( SD, MMC ), two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 Port, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI Port, eSATA Port and finger Print Reader.

News is out that Acer is getting ready to launch a new 17.3 laptop called the Acer Aspire 7250. This new device will sport the following specs: a 17.3-inch CineCrystal display with 1600 x 900 resolutions, an 1GHz AMD E-350 APU dual-core processor with Radeon HD 6310 integrated graphics (492MHz) or 1.3GHz AMD E-450 APU dual-core processor with Radeon HD 6310 integrated GPU (488MHz), up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, a multi-gesture touchpad, a DVD burner, a 2-in-1 card reader, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a 6-cell battery. No word on availability or pricing for now.

Acer has revealed that it has a new Acer Aspire 3951 laptop that will come with a second generation Intel Core processor, an optional 160GB SSD, 250 GB or 500GB hard drives, HDMI output, USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0, up to six hours of battery life, offering an 13.3 inch display. Looks very likely that this is Acer’s first Ultrabook notebook. It will measure 13mm thick and weigh in at just 3 pounds. The Acer Aspire 3951 is expected to go on sale in October 2011 and priced between $770 and $960.
