The eMachines eME443-BZ602 laptop now available at Amazon.com for $369.99, although Newegg.com is cheaper at $329.99. It is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1366×768 LED display and is powered by a 1.GHz “Ontario” AMD Fusion C-50 APU dual-core processor, AMD Radeon HD 6250 integrated graphics, 250GB hard drive and 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
Acer has unveiled a new 15.6-inch laptop in UK market, the Acer TravelMate 5760. It is based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform and offers Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, an Intel HD Graphics 3000 or Nvidia graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250/320/500/640/750GB hard drive, a Multi-card reader, a DVD burner, a 6- or 9-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 OS. The Acer TravelMate 5760 laptop will be available in Europe starting in mid-July, with prices starting at £379.
Acer says the TravelMate 5760 “The new Acer TravelMate 5760 represents the perfect synthesis of productivity, security, efficiency and ergonomic design, with the added appeal of a touch of glamour,”.
Acer unveiled its new generation TravelMate Timeline 8×73 laptop series. The new 14-inch TravelMate 8473 and 15.6-inch 8573 feature the Intel powerful second generation Core i5 and Core i7 processors, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, Intel HD Graphics 3000 or Nvidia graphics card with NVIDIA Optimus technology. Both laptops also feature a DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive, a HD webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, optional 3G connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA video outputs, a fingerprint reader, a multi-in-1 card reader, and 8 hours of battery life.
