Asus unveiled its new generation Zenbook UX31A and UX21A notebooks. Both powerful notebooks are based on Intel Ivy Bridge platform, feature a choice of Intel powerful 1.8GHz Core i3-3217U dual-core processor, a 1.7GHz Core i5-3317U (2.6GHz in Turbo Boost mode), and a 1.9GHz Core i7-3517U (3.0GHz in Turbo). The Zenbook UX21A laptop sports a 11.6-inches display while the UX31A laptop features a 13.3-inches display with a minimum pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. All models also include 4GB of RAM, 256GB solid state drives, an Intel integrated graphics, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, SDXC card reader, two USB 3.0 ports and more. The UX31A pricing starts at $1,100, while the UX21A’s price starts at $1,050.

Asus has announced their latest Cedar Trail-based netbook, the Asus Eee PC 1011CX. This Asus mini laptop gets new 1.6 GHz Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processor. The ‘original’ Asus Eee PC 1011PX was boasts Intel Atom N455/N570 Pine Trail CPU. The Asus Eee PC 1011CX packs a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB/2GB of RAM, and a 320GB/500GB hard drive. Along with a 0.3-megapixel camera, built-in microphone, stereo speaker, a SD/SDHC/MMC card slot, three USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI ports, an Ethernet jack, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and optional Bluetooth 3.0.

ASUS has introduced yet another special edition laptop, this time round coming in the form of the ASUS N45J, the ASUS N45J Mystic Edition laptop comes with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, an Intel Core i3 CPU upgradeable to an i5 or i7, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 2GB graphics card, up to 8GB RAM, a hybrid drive or SSD, a 1.3MP webcam, a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI 1.4 video output. The laptop has art album cover and signature from singer-songwriter Jay Chou. Unfortunately, there is no information about price and release date.
