ASUS has announced two new laptops which based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform in Europe, namely the N53SV-SX387V and the N53SN-SZ127V. The ASUS N53SV-SX387V, uses an Intel 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M processor with a GeForce GT 540M graphics card and 4GB RAM. Meanwhile the ASUS N53SN-SZ127V is equipped by a 2.0GHz Core i7-2630QM processor, a GeForce GT 550M graphics card and 6GB RAM. Features that they share are 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, 500GB hard drive, a 4x Blu-ray combo drive, a webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, a 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Professional OS. Cost of N53SV-SX387V and N53SN-SZ127V notebooks are starts €949 and €1299 respectively.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is already listed on Best Buy, but not available yet for sale or for pre-order. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer will come equipped with a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS LED back-lit, capacitive multi-touch display, a 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor ,micro SD card slot, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.2MP front camera, USB and HDMI ports, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). The 16GB version will be available in the U.S. through Best Buy and other retailers at the end of April for $399.99.

Asus has announced an updated version of its Bamboo Collection U43 laptop that comes with 2nd Gen Intel “Sandy Bridge” processor. Called the Asus U43SD. It packs a 14-inch LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display, and powered by a Core i3-2310M or i5-2410M processor with GeForce GT 520M 1GB graphics card. Additional specs include up to 8GB of RAM, up to 750GB of storage space, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 2.0 megapixel webcam, USB 3.0 connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, HDMI output and either a 6- or 8-cell battery. It is also running Windows 7 OS.
