Asus has released their newest 14-inch ‘Asus U46‘ ultrathin laptop in the UK. Priced at £699, the system offers a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 8GB RAM, Intel HD 3000 integrated or nVidia GeForce GT450M graphics with 1GB of GDDR3 video memory, and 320GB or 750GB hard drive (7200 rpm). Along with a 0.3-megapixels camera, USB 3.0 port, single HDMI output, and optional Bluetooth 3.0. The laptop comes equipped with a 8-cell 5900mAh battery that will provide up to 10-hours of operating time.

You might remember the ASUS N55SF, an 15.6-inch laptop which has been showcased at Computex 2011. The ASUS N55SF will come in a few different configurations but both sporting Nvidia’s latest GPU. One is the 1GB GeForce GT 555M graphics card and another is the 2GB GeForce GT 555M graphics card. Both will have a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, an Intel HM65 Express Chipset, a 750GB hard drive, 8GB of DDR3 memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI, USB 3.0 ports and the Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The Asus U36SD-RX146V Laptop will be available in Europe next month at the price tag of €1,299. Weight of Asus U36SD laptop is about 1.9kg but only 19mm thick. The new Asus U36SD is a 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptop with a 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display and is powered by a 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-2620m processor, a Nvidia GeForce GT 520M graphics card with 1GB VRAM, 160GB solid state drive and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Other specs of the Asus U36SD includes Bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI output, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, a 5-in-1 card reader, and a 8-cell 5600 mAh Lithium-Ion battery. It will come with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS.
