Verizon has expanded it’s netbook lineup with the Gateway LT2016u mini laptop and now engadget.com has just reviewed the updated Gateway LT2016u. The LT2016u has the exact same specs as about a dozen other netbooks on the market. The netbook features an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display, 1GB of DDR2 533MHz SDRAM, and a 160GB hard drive. Other features on the Gateway LT2016u include VGA webcam, Windows XP Home, WiFi, and up to 6 hours of battery life. Size and weight are very decent (Less then three pounds) . If you sign up for a two-year deal, the Gateway LT2016u will be available October 4 for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.
