Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for HP’s upcoming mini laptop – the HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition netbook. Priced at $599.99. Weighing 2.6 pounds and less than 1-inch thin, this is so much easier to travel. The HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition is the cutest thing ever and i loved how it worked with her collection. “As a fashion designer I have always found inspiration in bringing contrasting worlds together,” said Tam, in a statement. “I use computers in every aspect of my life so it seemed natural to marry fashion and technology. Together with HP, we created this movement of fashionable tech accessories with the second-edition digital clutch.” It runs on Intel’s N450 Atom processor (at 1.66 GHz), and offers 4.25 hours battery life, it also has an optional matching HP 2.4 GHz wireless optical mouse. The new HP Mini 210 will be available March 19 and come loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. More specs are below the image.

There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming HP EliteBook 2540p 12.1 inch mini laptop. The HP Elite 2540p features a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Core i5/i7 processor, 250GB to 500GB hard drive. Additional specs include a 2MP webcam with business card reader software, 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and multiple li-ion battery options 3-cell (4 hours), 6-cell (8.5 hours), 9-cell (12.5 hours). Weighing 1.53 kg and runs Windows 7 OS. You will be able to purchase a HP EliteBook 2540p this April in the US for $1,099.

First real pictures of the HP EliteBook 2740p convertible tablet 12-inch mini laptop! HP has quietly introduced a multitouch-enabled tablet notebook geared towards business users, the HP EliteBook 2740p. It is similar to HP EliteBook 2730p and powered by the new Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, we can expect the 2740p to have a capacitive touch screen and a DVD+/-RW drive. But I hope that they add some better processors than the current 2730p (Low Voltage, up to 2.13Ghz). As a high-end Tablet PC, the 12.1-inch mulittouch capable 1280 x 800 resolution capacitive touchscreen display includes anti-glare and optional outdoor view, and can be operated with a pen, finger or keyboard. Those other standard specs I mentioned look to include 8GB DDR3 memory and a 6-cell 44WHr battery. It is expected price at $1,599 in US market next month.
