It is said that HP will roll out an upgraded version of the hp Pavilion dm1 laptops with either an AMD E-series APU or an Intel Core i3 processor. The new Pavilion dm1 mini laptop packs an 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 resolutions, 4GB DDR3 memory, a 320GB (7200rpm) hard drive, and runs on Windows 7 OS. Other tech specs include a TrueVision HD webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, full-size island-type keyboard, and HDMI port.

Hewlett-Packard is adding an 15.6 inch laptop with AMD processors to its lineup. The new HP 635 is a cheap business laptop with a 1366 x 768 LED backlit display and is powered by either a 2.3GHz AMD Athlon II P360 dual-core processor or a 1.6GHz AMD E-350 dual-core APU, 3GB of RAM and  a 320GB hard drive. Other specs of the HP 635 laptop includes Radeon HD 6310M or Radeon HD 4250 graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports, a DVD burner, a VGA webcam, Altec Lansing speakers, an SD/MMC media card slot and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS. It’s price is expected to fall between $400 to $550.
