Folks in the UK, later this month can get the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 via Amazon online retailer. Amazon have put the new mini laptop up for preorder, and £1,292.52 ($2120) for a 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptop with a 2.5Ghz Core i5-2520M processor, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB of hard disk storage, a back-lit keyboard and Windows 7 professional. It is said to have 8 hours of battery life.

Lenovo hits back with a new series of 14-inch laptops, the Lenovo IdeaPad V470 series. Coming in four different models, V470-439628U, V470-439625U, V470-439626U and V470-439627U. The Lenovo IdeaPad V470 packs a 14-inch HD Glossy display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The choice of processors too exist and you may pick one of Intel’s Core i3-2310M, i5-2410M or i7-2630QM range of processors. It also sport either Intel Integrated HD Graphics 3000 or NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M 1GB.
