LG Mini Laptops – LG X140 3G netbook pictures

Good news for the geeky girls. LG Electronics finally announced sale online their mini laptop which was announced in March 2010, known as LG X140. Priced at $490 a pop, you can choose from white, black, and hot pink colors. This LG mini laptop processor equipped with a choice of either a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 or a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 and of course a HD LCD display 10.1-inch netbook that is 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Other details include 1GB RAM, a 320GB SATA HDD, a 1.3-megapixel camera, SRS TruSurround HD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and runs Windows 7 Starter OS. One of the more important features of this laptop is that it sports an embedded 3G modem chipset.

LG Electronics has launch another version of its popular LG X140 series netbook, the LG X140 World Cup Edition netbook in the market, which is powered by Intel Atom N450 or N470 processor and comes preloaded with Windows 7 Starter OS. This mini laptop comes standard with 1GB or 2GB RAM, 250GB or 320GB HDD, 1.3MP webcam, SRS TruSurround HD sound, 3G connectivity and a 6-cell or 9-cell battery (up to 12 hours of battery life). The screen size is set at 10.1-inches and the resolution is 1024×600 or 1,366 x 768 pixels. It will be available in white, pink and black color options, each sports a different design on the lid.

LG’s 10.1-inch mini laptop was found on Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site which is going to be LG’s next netbook. While there are no full details available yet about the LG X140 netbook, what we’ve learned so far is that it will also have a 10.1-inch LED backlit HD capable LCD screen, a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 320 GB of hard drive. As you can see by the image this is a netbook with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 9-cell battery. It might also come with a 3G modem! The LG X140 will be running Windows 7 Starter Edition.
