The Onkyo C411 Pine Trail series Netbook will be Onkyo’s first mini laptop to feature Intel’s new Pine Trail platform. The processor that will drive this netbook is going to be the Intel Atom N540. Priced at $600 a pop.
If you’re a power user, maybe you are looking for a cool computer with Dual screen. Onkyo has added another Dual Screen mini laptop to the netbook range with the launch of the Onkyo Dual Screen DX Series. It has a screen that can pull out into two, everything else remains the same as the Kohjinsha DZ dual screen netbook. Obviously, its a rebranded version, but 1366×768 on a 10″ screen would be a bit harsh on your tired eyes. You know that Dual screens are brilliant for graphics work, data entry or typing while researching or grading papers is really quite nice, aside from its dual display, is AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz CPU, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, RS780MN chipset, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and more. It runs under Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and sells for about $966. Overall, it’s a nice computer at an affordable price.
Onkyo has finally launched their first netbook with GPS and it’s the 7 inch ultra mini laptop, namely the Onkyo NX707A4. The mini tablet PC is a convertible tablet netbook, packs a touchscreen display with 1,024×600-pixel resolution, looks like it could replace the smart phone. The Onkyo NX707A4 looks very similar in specs to the Kohjinsha SK series, it comes with an Intel Atom Z520 processor clocked at 1.33GHz, up to 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, 80GB of hard drive(4,200 rpm), and Graphics Media Accelerator 500 GPU with 253MB of memory, aside from its built-in GPS module, is multi-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a two webcams. The tablet will be shipped with Windows 7. Additionally, it has a 2,300 mAh battery that should be good for 3.1 hours. There is no price listed but I doubt it will be cheap.
