It looks like Samsung is getting set to launch a 14-inch or 15.6-inch Samsung Series 6 rugged notebook. The laptop is tested with the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standard and can withstand any shock and pressure to keep the data safe. While there are no full details available yet about the Samsung Series 6 rugged notebook, what we’ve learned so far is that it will also have a quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU, an Nvidia GPU, a bright/anti-reflective LCD display, webcam, USB 3.0, Fast Start, Intelligent Charging, Power Plus battery etc.

This Samsung mini laptop shares many similarities to the Samsung N310 netbook, including a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive and the Windows 7 Starter 32-bit OS.
