Genesi USA has unveiled its new smartbook which based on a 800MHz Freescale i.MX515 ARM Cortex-A8 processor, called Efika MX smartbook. It comes with a 10.1 inch 16:9 LED backlight display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 512MB of RAM and 16GB NAND flash. You will get an optional 3G modem, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo speaker, microphone, MMC / SD card slot and also a 1.3 MP web camera. The upcoming 8.9-inch mini laptop, the Mobinnova Beam ARM powered Smartbook known as the élan from Mobinnova will soon be coming to wireless provider AT&T, it has been listed in the FCC database with a device ID of BEAMATT. Mobinnova was doing so well just by virtue of having tegra which will support 720p HD video playback and accelerated Flash content. Expect to see it at CES in January.
