SONY Mini Laptops – Sony Vaio M Series pictures
It looks like Sony has added a new 10.1-inch netbook to its line of mini laptops, spotted by Notebook Review Forum. The new Sony Vaio M Series is similar to Vaio W and powered by an Intel Atom Processor N450 at 1.66GHz, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, a 250GB 5400rpm hard drive, and runs on Windows 7 Starter Edition. But this new model packs a lower resolution display. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) display, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in webcam. The Sony Vaio M will start shipping later this month for £320 about $482. I will wait for it to come down in price.
Sony will soon begin selling their latest Sony Vaio E Series notebooks. The Sony Vaio E Series features a 15.5″ widescreen display with optional HD, an Intel 2.4GHz Core i5 processor with Hyper-threading and Turbo Boost, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a DVD burner. Other specs include Bluetooth, an HDMI port, eSATA and three USB ports. The Sony Vaio E Series will come in brown, pink silver and green in glossy finish, and it will come with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The new VAIO E Series notebook is listed on the site for $799.99, but shipping will (unfortunately) only begin in March.
Finally! A Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed Sony 14-inch multimedia laptop. Sony put the newest Intel Core i5 processor on their 14″ Sony VAIO CW series, now available from its Product Page. Let’s look at its specs: a 14-inch 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, an Intel Core i5 processor (up to 2.53GHz), 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive, and 256 MB of NVIDIA GeForce 310M video graphics card. The price around $809.99 and available in white, black, pink, red, blue colors.
