SONY Mini Laptops – Sony Vaio YB-Series pictures
Sony’s just announced its newest addition to the VAIO laptop lineup, the Sony VAIO YB series. The latest VAIO packs the just announced AMD Brazos E350 APU. This 3.23 lbs Sony mini laptop will use a 1.6 GHz AMD E-350 processor with Radeon HD 6310 graphics, it has 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, three USB ports, VGA and HDMI output. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and with 6 hours of battery life. The Sony VAIO YB series will start shipping next month with a starting price of $549 for the base configuration.

Sony is set to launch a new Vaio tablet PC according to a new listing over at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The new tablet, codenamed PCG-31211L, sports 802.11 b/g/n wireless capabilities and Bluetooth. We don’t know much about the specs of the PCG-31211L, other than the device packs Sony’s VGP-BPL21 battery, which is the same battery used in the company’s F, NW, CW, Y, S, B and SR series notebooks.
