Toshiba has recently introduced its new tablet at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas, called Toshiba Excite X10. According to manufacture, it is the world’s thinnest 10-inch tablet (about 7.7 mm, 0.3 inch thick and weighs 1.18 lbs). Expect to to come in 16GB and 32GB varieties, with pricing set at $529.99 and $599.99, respectively, there are no details on an exact release date as yet. The Toshiba Excite X10 tablet will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1GB RAM, micro-USB, micro-HDMI ports, a microSD slot, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity, and the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (it will be updated to Android 4.0 after release). Plus a rear facing 5 megapixel camera and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.

AT&T has quietly added another tablet into their current lineup. The new model is the Pantech Element tablet and its priced at $300 on a two year LTE data agreement or $450 without contract. The new tablet packs an 8-inch touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and runs on Android 3.2 OS. It also comes with a 5MP back camera and a 2MP front camera.
