T-Mobile is planning on releasing a new Android tablet on its network, under the model name of Huawei Springboard. The T-Mobile’s Springboard tablet packs a 7-inch HD multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 dual-core processor, a 5mp front-facing camera, a microSD card slot (supports up to 32GB), HDMI output, and the Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) OS. Dimensions of Springboard tablet are 7.48″ x 4.88″ x 0.41″ and weight 13 ounces. Talkandroid says it will cost about $200.
ViewSonic has unveiled a dual boot tablet PC that comes pre-installed with Android 2.3 and Windows 7 operating systems, the ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro — one of the first tablets to use Intel’s Oak Trail 1.5GHz Atom Z670 processor complete with support for Flash 10.1. It also packs a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive multitouch display, 2GB of memory, up to 32GB of storage, 3G compatibility, 1080p video playback, and a 3500mAh battery. The 16GB model will be sale for price from $599, while 32GB version will be $699.
