General Dynamics has showcased its semi-rugged tablet that designed from harsh treatment, called Itronix GD3015 tablet. It is a rugged Tablet PC with a 10.4-inch resistive touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, a 160GB HDD or optional 64GB SSD and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. Other specs of the Itronix GD3015 tablet includes a couple of USB 2.0 ports, GPS, a 2.0-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and a VGA port. The HP TouchPad tablet is now available in the US market via Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, and J&R. Price of HP TouchPad are $499.99 for 16GB and $599.99 for 32GB model. The new mini tablet comes with a 9.7-inch XGA touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space, 1GB RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and runs with the latest WebOS 3.0. HP also said a 3G model for AT&T will be available later this summer, though pricing has not been announced, spotted by BGR.
