Archos has expanded its line of G series tablets with the introduction of two new models: Archos 80 G9 and Archos 101 G9. Both versions come standard with a 1.5GHz CORTEX A9 dual-core processor (OMAP 4), a 250GB hard drive or 16GB of flash storage and running Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS.
Wortmann AG is going to reveal a new convertible tablet PC named Terra Mobile Industry Pad. This new Tablet PC features an 10.1-inch LED-backlit resistive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 dual-core processor and an integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics chipset. The tablet will also feature 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 40GB solid state drive (SSD), a1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi capabilities, an SD/MMC card reader, GPS, 3G, and a 6-cell battery. It will come with pre-installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit OS. And will be priced at 999 Euro (about $1,417).
Panasonic is planning on launching an updated version of the Panasonic Toughbook C1, one of the world’s lightest 12.1-inch convertible Tablet PC. It is powered by an Intel Core i5-2520M vPro processor 2.50GHz with a Turbo Boost speed of up to 3.2GHz and boasts on Intel HD Graphics 3000, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, Bluetooth v2.1, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, optional Qualcomm’s Gobi 2000 3G and up to 12 hours of battery life. This Toughbook C1 packs a multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel.
