Toshiba is reportedly preparing to launch a convertible tablet-style mini laptop , but Microsoft has already been showcasing the new sliding laptop at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The Toshiba Portege M930 will similar design to Asus Eee Pad slider laptop that equipped with a 13 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, 256GB solid state drive. Weight is 1.9kg and it is 27mm thick. This convertible, like the Lenovo Yoga will be perfect for Windows 8.

Toshiba to Show NB510 Mini Laptop at CES

Toshiba has just showcased their newest netbook which is boasted by a Intel Atom Cedar Trail processor (N2600 or N2800) at CES 2012 that called the Toshiba NB510. The mini laptop packs a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 320GB of storage, three USB ports, Ethernet Jack, a VGA port and an HDMI port. There’s no word as to when the NB510 will be available in the market or how much it will be priced at.

Toshiba Excite X10 tablet unveiled at CES 2012

Toshiba has recently introduced its new tablet at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas, called Toshiba Excite X10. According to manufacture, it is the world’s thinnest 10-inch tablet (about 7.7 mm, 0.3 inch thick and weighs 1.18 lbs). Expect to to come in 16GB and 32GB varieties, with pricing set at $529.99 and $599.99, respectively, there are no details on an exact release date as yet. The Toshiba Excite X10 tablet will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1GB RAM, micro-USB, micro-HDMI ports, a microSD slot, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity, and the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (it will be updated to Android 4.0 after release). Plus a rear facing 5 megapixel camera and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.

Toshiba recently came out with two new ultrabooks under its Portege brand. The newest Toshiba PCs are the Portege Z830 and the Z835. Toshiba also gives both Portege Z830 and Z835 work based on low-voltage Intel Core processor platform (Core i3, i5 or i7 processors option). The Portege Z835 is powered by an Intel Core i3-2367M processor and 4GB of memory. There are two models of Portege Z830: one with Intel Core i5-2557M + 4GB DDR3 RAM, and other with Intel Core i7-2677M Processor + 6GB of DDR3 RAM. For you who have waited Toshiba’s ultrabook, this will be a good news. Toshiba have just announced that they’re jumping the ultrabook bandwagon by officially unveiling their new Toshiba Portege Z835-P330 Ultrabook. The new ultrabook will be arriving in Best Buy stores for $899. Looks like a very good price, the Toshiba Portege Z835-P330 features a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 display, a 1.4GHz Intel Core i3-2367M processor, an Intel 3000 HD graphics, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB solid state disk. The laptop, that measures 12.4″ x 8.9″ x 0.6″ and weighs about 2.4 pounds. At this point there is no mention of a release date, because it is known to be “coming soon.”

It looks like Toshiba is preparing to launch its first ultrabook based on Intel’s 2nd generation Core i3/i5/i7 processor. The Toshiba Portégé Z830 Series laptop measures 0.63-inch (15.9 mm) thick and weighs “just over” 2.5 pounds. It packs a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display with Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 128GB solid state drive. Along with two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0, HDMI and VGA output, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, SD card slot, and optional Fingerprint reader.
