The Toshiba NB550D is a new 10.1-inch mini laptop that has a similar design with the Toshiba NB520. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display. The machine will use AMD’s Brazos “Fusion” platform and is powered by dual-core AMD C-50 1GHz Fusion APU, an integrated Radeon HD 6250 DirectX 11 graphics, 1GB DDR3, 250GB HDD and will come with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Along with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 Ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a VGA webcam and a 6-cell battery with enabling up to 9.5 hours of battery life. It is expected to be available in Lime Green, Brown and Orange color options.
