There were rumors that Microsoft is planning to release a Service Pack of Windows 7 operating system. Windows 7 has already be recieved by many however this will only boat market share ratio as it will provide a sense of security for businesses, SP1 will make it better. We can not give you exact date of the release of Windows 7 SP1 but it is expected to be unveiled this summer. The SP1 of Windows 7 won’t be drastically different from the current version as there is not a great deal of issues to be fixed. Still, the Windows 7 SP1 could include couple of new features such as all of the Windows updates that have been released so far and support for USB 3.0 and other new hardware. SP1 isn’t just about implementing new hardware support (usb 3, etc), but also about bringing all the past patches into one patch.
