Three new ‘FoxOS’ netbook models from a Taiwanese OEM manufactuer called Foxconn has turned up at the FCC codenamed SZ901P, NS24, and NS20. There isn’t much information, but it’s safe to assume that these mini laptops will have 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, WWAN, CCD webcam, VGA port, three USB ports, microphone, headphone jacks, and a touchpad with 2 keys. In the coming year 2010, the Foxconn SZ901P netbook will be running on Linux-based OS called FoxOS and you can also install Windows XP on this netbook. The FoxOS is made on the basis of the Linux kernel and it has simple specification and intuitive Foxtop UI, combining multimedia capabilities, Internet access services, productivity tools, administrative tools, etc. How much and when? Nothing is known at this point of time.
