It’s official. MSI has finally launched their dual-core mini laptop and it’s the 12.1” MSI Wind U230 netbook. First of all, this is an excellent mini laptop, a big enough screen to use in the real world, and plenty of horsepower. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium and has a fast AMD Congo 1.6GHz Dual Core processor. Also includes AMD Radeon HD3200 graphics card for DirectX 10 and HD video playback. MSI increases the new mini laptop RAM from 2GB to 4GB, increases screen size from 10.1″ to 12.1″, and increases the number of pixels from 1024×600 up to 1366×768 (native 720p video.), up to 320GB hard-drives, battery life is given a 4-hour rating. The MSI Wind U230 will on sale in January 2010 for around £399.
