Acer Aspire 1420p
The Acer Aspire 1420p has shown up last week, this device is a touchscreen tablet version of Acer’s new mini laptop with SU2300 processor (CULV). First of all, the SU2300 processor is very close in benchmarks to the higher processors. Personally, I can’t wait for this sleek 11.6-inch tablet if the specs are true: It will come with an 11.6 inch LED multitouch display, an Intel Celeron SU2300 processor (1.2GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz frontside bus), a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of DDR3 memory (expandable to 8GB), 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, a multi-card reader, webcam and optional 3G support, and Windows 7. It seems that the Aspire 1420p is getting the bigger 5600mAh battery, too, which should be good for almost 8 hours. The Aspire 1420p is already up on Acer’s US website, but Acer hasn’t said when you’ll be able to buy the Aspire 1420p, or how much it will cost.
