The 11.1-inch Sony VAIO X is an 11.1-inch Sony mini laptop with a lightweight carbon-fibre chassis. Sony officially announces its notebook line-up, called Sony Vaio X series that weighs only 1.6 pounds and made out of carbon-fiber materials. This carbon-fiber and 1.6 pounds (about 0.72kg, just over half an inch thick) high-end laptop features an Intel Atom Z550 processor, Intel GMA 500 graphics, 2GB of RAM, tucked with an SSD drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, 2 USB ports, and Windows 7 Home Premium edition, an integrated Verizon 3G slot and a 3.5-hour battery that is claimed to deliver up to 14 hours of work.
