Acer has revealed that it has a new Acer Aspire 3951 laptop that will come with a second generation Intel Core processor, an optional 160GB SSD, 250 GB or 500GB hard drives, HDMI output, USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0, up to six hours of battery life, offering an 13.3 inch display. Looks very likely that this is Acer’s first Ultrabook notebook. It will measure 13mm thick and weigh in at just 3 pounds. The Acer Aspire 3951 is expected to go on sale in October 2011 and priced between $770 and $960.

Fujitsu sent out a press release announcing the launch of their latest ultraportable laptop, the Fujitsu LIFEBOOK SH531. It is the perfect everyday mobile companion – at home, in the office, at school or on the go. The LifeBook SH531 comes with Windows 7 Professional OS, has a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display, measures just 32.3 mm thick and is powered by the 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor. It will also come with up to 8GBof DDR3 RAM, a 320GB/500GB hard drive, an Intel HD graphics card. Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and 6-hours battery life. Price starts at $720.

Gateway introduced one of their new laptop with a stylish design and feature the second generation Intel Core processor. It is likely that Gateway has managed to pack a 14-inch screen into a 13.3-inch body, the Gateway ID47 laptop coming with a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000, Dolby Home Theater v4 sound package, and a 500GB hard drive. Along with a DVD burner, a 1.3MP webcam, USB 3.0 port, HDMI-out, WiFi b/g/n, an 8 hours battery life and Optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics card. The Gateway ID47 laptop has a starting price of $700.
