The HP Pavilion dm1-4000 will start shipping in Japan from October 19th for a starting price of 39,900 Yen (about $520). The Pavilion dm1-4000 is a 11.6-inch HP Mini Laptop with a 1366×768 LED display and is powered by dual-core 1.65 GHz AMD Fusion E-450 Processor, 640GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Other specs of the Pavilion dm1-4000 includes an SD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, a 6-cell battery, an HDMI port, and the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.
ASUS Mini Laptops – ASUS Eee PC 1015BX Netbook Picture
Another AMD Fusion-based netbook from ASUS has just been showcased at Computex 2011. Called the ASUS Eee PC 1015BX, this ASUS’ upcoming mini laptop is equipped with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM, up to 500GB hard drive and an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics card. You can also find Bluetooth, WiFi, an HDMI port, one USB 3.0 port, and a 3-cell 2200mAh or 6-cell 5200mAh lithium-ion battery. Under the hood, there’s a 1GHz AMD C-50 APU processor. Unfortunately, pricing and availability of the ASUS Eee PC 1015BX netbook are still unknown at this time.
Acer is preparing release of two new Acer mini laptops that called the Acer Aspire One AOD270 and Acer Ferrari One FO300. The Aspire One AOD270 is based on the upcoming Intel Cedar Trail platform, while the Ferrari One FO300 is based on AMD Fusion platform. No word on other features, but it is known that the new Acer Aspire One AOD270 will similar design to the Aspire One Happy netbook series.
