Acer has presented its latest laptop which is powered by Intel’s Core i7 or Core i5 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M or the NVIDIA GT 555m graphics card and up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, called Acer Aspire Ethos series. The first model called Aspire Ethos 5951G has a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768. It is powered by the Core i7-2630QM processor. Other specifications includ a 750GB hard drive and a Blu-ray drive. The second model called Aspire Ethos 8951G has an 18.4-inch LED-backlit display with 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution. It is also powered by Core i3, i5, or i7 processors. But unlike the 5951G, the 8951G has up to 1.5TB of storage space.
Toshiba Europe unveiled its new line up of 3D Laptops that include the 15.6-inch Satellite P750 3D/P755 3D and 17.3-inch Satellite P770 3D/P775 3D. Toshiba’s new laptops are equipped with up to 8GB of RAM, up to 750GB hard drive, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M discrete graphics with 1GB/2GB VRAM, Wi-Fi, TV tuner, 3D dual webcam, DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports. It is expected that each of the laptops will also run the 2nd-Gen Intel’s Sandy Bridge Core i3, Core i4 and Core i7 processor and come with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Expect to see it available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa on the second quarter 2011, although we have no idea on the pricing details at press time.

Acer America has introduced its Acer Aspire TimelineX Series laptops in the US, which called the (13.3-inch) Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830T, the (14-inch) Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830T and the (15.6-inch) Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830T.
