X2 Computing iTablet tablet PC

A UK-based company, X2 Computing has just announced that their new widescreen iTablet tablet PC is going to launch soon with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and your choice of Windows 7, Windows XP Tablet Edition or Linux for your operating system. The iTablet tablet PC has a 10.2-inch widescreen TFT or 12.1-inch widescreen XGA touchscreen capable of 1,024 x 768 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 512MB to 2GB of memory, and up to 250GB hard drive. Other features include built-in stereo speakers, three USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and 3G support. The thickness of the new iTablet tablet PC is about 28 mm and weight is 1.18kg (2.6 pounds).

“X2 wouldn’t normally get much in the way of press coverage because it’s one of the companies that has been quietly supplying tablet PCs to the industrial and commercial markets, where they have many uses in retail, healthcare, logistics etc,” says the Guardian UK.

I believe this company owns the trademark for iTablet, so Apple wouldn’t be able to do anything.
